Nampak invites unemployed youth to apply for Fitter and Tunner Apprenticeship Programme 2023.
Apprenticeship Application Closing Date: 03 May 2023
Apprenticeship Location: Bevcan Rosslyn – Johannesburg
Key responsibilities include:
- Completion of all required theoretical modules for the trade
- Undergoing intensive on-the-job training and other related training
- Providing support to the production process with adequate levels of availability and reliability
- Demonstrating the ability to practically conduct maintenance and installations
- Acquiring problems solving and trouble shooting skills
- Adhering to plant rules and regulations
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Minimum N3 mechanical engineering, with Mathematics & Physical Science.
- A good mechanical understanding at a basic level
- Team orientation, be systematic and well organised
- Basic computer literacy
- Good interpersonal & communication skills, positive attitude, able to use own initiative, team oriented, systematic and well organized
- Ability to work overtime and shifts when required
