Netcare invites unemployed youth to apply for IT Internship Programme 2021.

Internship Location: Gauteng
The IT Intern will be exposed to the Netcare time and attendance system (Kronos) and the functions and processes involved in managing employee hours across the group. The intern will also be exposed to managing of helpdesk calls in line with policies and procedures of the company using Sigma. Requiring logical thinking and basic arithmetic based around time displayed in hours and minutes, the intern will also gain knowledge on HR policies and guidelines to ensure the employees are working their contractual hours while the company is receiving the contractual hours worked. Additional exposure to the querying of databases using SQL would also be a path that would be explored based on the individual chosen career path. As an add-on, the goal would be to train the intern up in order they could train users on the Kronos system as well as conduct reporting, audits, etc. where required.
The role involves exposure to performing an inclusive training and support function to the users of the Netcare Time and Attendance system, Kronos, within a particular region. The incumbent must ensure compliance to all Kronos related policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in IT equivalent to an NQF level 6 qualification.
- National Diploma in IT (minimum)
- Knowledge of IT Information Systems
- Knowledge of Time and Attendance systems
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Computer literacy must be at an experienced / advanced level.
- Knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act
