O.R Tambo District Municipality invites new applicants to apply for financial assistance for 2018 intake in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. This is a full-time bursaries offered by the Municipality as part of capacity building initiatives aimed at meeting future skills and capacity needs.

Requirements
- Application Letter ( Application letter must state convincing reasons why the applicant is requesting a bursary, must be written BURSARY APPLICATION on the subject line, must reflect the social background and academic /school information, must includes employment status of parents or official guardian source of income even if none of the above is employed and reliable contact details)
- Proof of residence
- Admission letter from Government tertiary Institution i South Africa
- Applicant must be enrolling for a first Degree or Diploma
- Certified copies of identity documents for both parents and applicant
- Grade 12 certificate or May/June results for those who are still doing Grade 12
- The OR Tambo Financial Academic Assistance strictly requires successful candidates to stay at the University Residence and proof thereof must be attached.
- Affidavit to confirm that the information on the application is true
