About the OVK Toyota Motors Apprenticeship Programme
OVK is looking for young applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in the motor industry.
Successful candidates will receive practical on-the-job training and will be given the opportunity to develop new technical and workplace skills.
On successful completion of the programme, candidates will receive a certificate indicating their level of achievement, which will be registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Afrikaans.
- English.
- Mathematics and/or Technical subjects.
- N2 in Motor Mechanics.
- A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
Applicants should have:
- Good communication skills.
- Good Afrikaans and English language skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Good numerical ability.
- Strong organisational skills.

Toyota TALA Training Academy
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to receive training through Toyota’s TALA Training Academy.
This provides apprentices with structured technical development alongside practical workplace exposure within the motor division.
