About the Pricing Analyst Internship:
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Finance or Accounting graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting the UK Pest Control business. The successful candidate will be enrolled in a company-selected and SETA-approved learnership while contributing to pricing, margin analysis, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Price and Margin Analysis:
- Support pricing decisions and margin analysis
- Report and explain monthly performance metrics
- Assist with commission scheme calculations and profitability models
- Maintain price lists and support large contract bids
- Collaborate with Marketing, Bids & Tenders, and Contracts teams
Financial Reporting:
- Deliver accurate monthly reports on Key Account Performance
- Provide commentary and investigate performance trends
- Support management with ad hoc reporting and data analysis
- Assist the Finance team with accounting accuracy and business projects
General Analysis:
- Maintain strong working relationships with operations and branch managers
- Support understanding of commercial performance and budget targets
- Provide data support and explanations for financial decision-making
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Recently completed degree/diploma in Finance or Accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Experience with tools like Qlik, Big Query, or Data Studio is advantageous (not essential)
