Episode 89
Mxolisi deals with the aftermath of his accusation against Mkhonto. Mangqobo warns him to leave his uncle alone. Thobile thinks that Mastermind is up to no good. She suspects that he has another woman in his life.
Ayanda’s anger for Pastor Nkosi is further fuelled when Nombuso breaks down in tears. Mkhonto drowns his sorrows after his confrontation with the family. He visits Sma in a drunken stupor, angering Mastermind.

Episode 90
Mkhonto and Mxolisi visit Xulu’s grave. There’s a heartfelt moment between uncle and nephew. As Thobile’s suspicions grow, she confronts Mastermind at the Shisa Nyama while he’s with a few girls. It gets ugly.
Mastermind warns Nosipho to stay away, lest they awaken the beast that lies in Thobile. Pastor Nkosi makes more advances towards Nombuso, Nombuso loses it and storms off.

Episode 91
Mxolisi gives Mkhonto a peace offering, hoping to cover up his true intentions. Mangqobo and Mkhonto have a heart-to-heart about the loss of Xulu. Both are missing him and feel empty without him.
He tells Mxo. Ayanda discovers more of Pastor Nkosi’s scheming and gathers more evidence.

Episode 92
Ayanda shows Manzuza the evidence he has against Pastor Nkosi. Manzuza warns that presenting this to the board may cause more harm than good.
Mxo and Mastermind finally get Xulu’s killer to pay for his crime but, they don’t agree on the method… Mastermind speaks to Mabuza about the evidence he has against Xulu’s killer. Will he go against Mxolisi’s plan?

Episode 93
Mkhonto leaves the Xulu house. Mxo feels no remorse. Nosipho and Mangqobo are upset. Thobile goes to the scrapyard to confront Mastermind again. She has a run in with Nosipho. Mkhonto says a dramatic goodbye to Sma… Will he be gone for good?
Nombuso goes to see Mxolisi at the office. She considers leaving Ayanda. Mastermind and Mkhonto share a drink at the shisa nyama. Mkhonto thinks that they have buried the hatchet… but have they?

Episode 94
Mkhonto visits Sma late at night, drunk. Mastermind and Mxolisi have finally agreed on a plan to go after Xulu’s killer. They kidnap Mkhonto. Meanwhile, Sma shows up at church with MK. Of course GC and Thobile have something to say about that.
Pastor Nkosi delivers a rather guilt-ridden last service. He flees out of the church and the congregants are angered by his speech.

Episode 95
Mxo and Mastermind deliver Mkhonto the Dlomo. Much to their dismay, both Dlomo and Mabuza are not impressed with their stunt. The Mdletshe’s finally move back to their home.
Mamlambo brings a peace offering for standing against the Mdletshe’s in their time of need. An unexpected visitor comes to the Maphumulo house. Sma is not impressed. Ayanda proposes to Nombuso…

Episode 96
Mxolisi plays Mkhonto’s confession to Mangqobo. She is furious. The guest Pastor announces Nombuso and Ayanda’s engagement. Nombuso feels blindsided and is angry. Mastermind packs Phindile’s bags. She wants her out of their house. Maphindi refuses.
Mxolisi is furious after discovering that Nombuso is engaged to Ayanda. Mangqobo is having none of that. They have bigger problems. Thobile finally loses it and goes after Nosipho with a knife.

Episode 97
Manzuza tries to see her husband in jail, to tell him that he is soon going to be a free man. He refuses to see her. Nombuso puts her ring back on and assures Ayanda she’s with him till the end.
Mkhonto’s case is thrown out of court when he convinces the Judge that his confession was made under duress. Mxolisi pours his heart out for Nombuso and seems to win her over but is interrupted by Dhlomo who is there to arrest him.

Episode 98
Maphindi threatens to fight for Amandla’s custody. Mkhonto taunts Mabuza about their botched case. Ayanda gives Nombuso an ultimatum; it’s either him or Mxolisi. Nombuso gets life-changing news.

Episode 99
Mxolisi is forced to seek legal advice when Dhlomo applies pressure. Smangele is jealous when she sees Mkhonto and the nurse. She fights for her man… Maphindi takes Amandla to her new “home”. She is elated that finally she gets to move out of the slums.
Richard Davis comes back into the world… Mastermind attacks Mkhonto at the hospital and gets arrested in the process. Mkhonto escapes.

Episode 100
Ayanda and Nombuso get together. Sparks fly. Mastermind and Mxo discuss the merits of their case in a jail cell. Sma and Mastermind have a confrontation at the prison.
Amandla goes for a lunch date with her mother and Richard… an old enemy sees them. Maphindi reveals the truth about who Amandla’s father is. Amandla breaks down.

Maphindi visits Mangcobo and makes demands. She wants money. Mangqobo is defeated. Nombuso’s traditional ceremony Umemulo) starts off well but ends disastrously. The truth about her virginity comes out. Ayanda stands by Nombuso and takes equal responsibility for the failed Umemulo.

Episode 102
Mxolisi is baying for Richard Davis’ but Richard and Maphindi escape. Mxolisi hears about umemulo and lashes out at Nombuso. Just as they think they have gotten away, Dhlomo intercepts Richard and Maphindi. They are finally arrested. They will pay for their sins!
