Sappi offers a one year procurement internship opportunity for recently qualified graduates in the fields of Commerce, Supply Chain or Procurement. We provide real, meaningful assignments under supervision of competent and passionate mentors who assist our candidates to integrate into the world of work.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain vendor contract, contact and service level master data including BBBEE records.
- Source, procure and expedite delivery of materials as instructed according to Sappi’s standard operating procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports.
- Report supplier non-conformance in terms of their contract obligations or service levels.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Grade 12/Matric qualification
- Degree in:
- Commerce,
- Supply Chain
- or Procurement
- No prior experience required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
