The Shoprite Bursary aims at attracting and funding talented Chartered Accounting students to become part of our Finance team after completion of their studies.
Successful graduates will have the opportunity to join the Shop. Accounting Articles Programme which is accredited with SAICA and runs for a minimum of three years By being part of the Articles Programme, the graduate will get exposure to the entire Group of Companies working with a wide range of managers. directors and executives.
Additionally. during the three-year programme, graduates will rotate around the 15 companies that fall under the Shopnte Group of Companies. where they will get exposed to multiple facets in this dynamic Accounting environment Successful candidates get place. into a division where they will be able to build a career.
Applicants must be willing to relocate to Cape Town where the Shoprite Group, Head Office is based.
To be considered for this bursary opportunity, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:
Minimum Requirements
- Must study towards BCom Accounting, BAcc (CA stream) degree
- Students in their 2nd and 3rd academic year
- Minimum 65% academic aggregate with minimum 65% in Accounting, Taxation and Auditing
- South African citizen
- 27 years old and younger
- Mobile
