Transnet invites recently qualified South African artisans to apply for the Work Integrated Technical Learner (WITL) Programme 2026 / 2027 in various locations across South Africa.

Learnership Application Closing Dates: 13โ€“15 October 2026, depending on the position

Programme Duration: 24 months

The programme is aimed at recently qualified artisans who hold a relevant Trade Test / Red Seal Certificate and have less than one year of post-qualification work experience. Successful candidates will receive practical workplace exposure, mentorship and hands-on technical experience.

About the Transnet Work Integrated Learning Programme

The Transnet Work Integrated Learning Programme provides recently qualified artisans with practical workplace experience so that they can apply their technical and vocational knowledge in a real industrial environment.

The programme runs for 24 months and focuses on hands-on technical work, mentorship, workplace safety and the development of practical artisan skills.
