Umzumbe Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Internship Location: KwaZulu-Natal

Umzumbe Municipality is recruiting South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Internships 2023/ 2024.

Remuneration: R5000-00 per month

This is a 12 months’ experiential training opportunity.

Applications are Invited from Unemployed Graduates with the following qualifications: 3-year Diploma/3-4-year Degree in the stated fields below.

The available Placement Section, required qualifications and number of interns required are listed below:

LED – 2 (two) posts                                         

• Diploma/Degree in Tourism Management I Agriculture, Rural Development , Economics

Community Services – 2 (two) posts            

• Diploma/Degree in Development Studies.              

Information Technology – 1(one) post      

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology             

Administration – 1 (one) post                       

• Diploma/Degree  in Public Administration/ Public Management 

Communications – 2 (two) posts                   

• Diploma I Degree in Public Relations or Communications

Special Programmes Unit – 1 (one)

• Diploma I Degree in Office ManagementI Bachelor of Socialwork

Public Participation – 1 (one) post             

• Degree/ Diploma in Public Management/ Local government

Key Requirements for the Post

• Relevant Degree or Diploma qualification in the related field of study from a recognized tertiary lnstiMion.
• Registration with professionalbodies where applicable.

• Applicants must reside within Umzumbe.
• Preferred target group would be between ages of 18 to 35.

• People living with disability are encouraged to apply.
• Proof of residence from a Councilor must be attached.

Key Performance Areas

Successful candidates would be required to carry out duties assigned by the Superiors.
