Western Cape Department of Health is offering Internships Programme for 2017 in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.  The Western Cape Government Department of Health is commencing with its Graduate Internship Programme for all South African unemployed graduates residing in the Western Cape.

The Western Cape Government : Health Graduate Internship Programme is a youth programme (ages 20 to 35) and will provide an opportunity to gain practical work experience for a maximum period of twelve (12) ,whereby successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R4 989,51 to R7 649,60 (depending on the NQF level 6-8).

Internship Location: Cape Town

You may only apply if you are already in possession of a degree (NQF Level 7) or diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following academic fields:

  • Information Management;
  • Senior Copy Writer or Graphic Design;
  • Clinical Engineering (Industrial Technician and Quantity Surveyor);
  • Financial Accounting,

with an average pass mark of 60% in your final year major subjects/modules.

Women and people with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.

Candidates must submit a completed Application Form (Z83 Form), obtainable from any government department, together with a certified copy of the relevant qualification, a certified copy of their green South African bar-coded ID or a certified copy of their new South African ID card as well as their academic results certified by the academic institution.
