About the Apprentice Level 1 Programme:
Hyundai Automotive SA is offering a 1st Year Apprenticeship opportunity for dynamic individuals passionate about the motor industry. Apprentices will undergo comprehensive training in various aspects of automotive service and repair.
Scope of the Apprenticeship includes:
- Removing, reconditioning, and replacing cylinder heads
- Servicing, repairing, and assembling engine blocks and components
- Diagnosing and replacing fuel system components
- Understanding basic electronics and ignition systems
- Testing, repairing, and replacing electrical components
- Working with engine efficiency and forced charging systems
- Diagnosing and repairing brake systems and clutch/transmission components
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Accredited tertiary qualification aligned with the motor industry (advantageous)
- Mechanical skills
- Strong passion for the motor industry
- High accuracy and speed
