The BRMO Youth Employment Services programme (YES) provides an opportunity for one year to unemployed youth through a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) programme. The programme offers a situated opportunity to gain practical and meaninful work experience related to a particular fields of study in order to allow students to complete a Qualifications. e.g National Diploma or gain work exposure in the following fields:
- Finance x 1
- Human Resources x 2
- Environmental Sciences x 1
- Geology x 2
- Mine Surveying x 2
- Engineering
- Mining Engineering x 3
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) x 2
- Mechanical Engineering x 2
- Process Instrumentation x 2
- Metallurgy / Chemical x 1
- Analytical Chemistry x 1
The following selection criteria will apply:
- Must have completed S4
- South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 35
- No active criminal record
