Internship Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Internship Closing Date: 17 June 2022
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) has the following Internship opportunities available for a period NOT exceeding 18 months.
Minimum Requirements:
• Ages between 18 – 35 years;
• Only City of Joburg residents will be considered. • No experience required.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
International Relations Interns
Department: Group Strategy, Policy Coordination and Relations Department (GSPCR) Degree or National Diploma in:
• International Relations,
• Public Administration,
• Development Studies • or related field
Finance Interns
• Matric / Grade 12 plus a Diploma / degree in: Finance / Accounting or equivalent qualification
Strategic Coordination & Integration Interns
Department: Environmental & Infrastructure Department Degree in:
• Environmental Management,
• Environmental Sciences,
• Conservation Management o • or closely related discipline
IT Interns
• Matric/Grade 12 plus a Diploma/degree in: Information Technology or equivalent qualification • Understanding of ICT Systems;
Skills and Competencies:
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Excellent Communication skills including presentation skills. • Organising skills and attention to detail.
• Coordinating skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Time management and being able to work under pressure.
