Coega Special Economic Zone (Coega SEZ) invites applicants to South African unemployed graduates to apply for Digital Media Graduate / Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.
Internship Location: Gqeberha (Head Office), Eastern Cape
Internship Closing Date: 03 June 2022
Duties: EDUCATION: ND IT with web experience; BTech IT with web experience; or ND Graphic Design with web experience.
DURATION: 18 MONTHS INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME LOCATION: Gqeberha (Head Office)
REQUIREMENTS
(i) Grade 12
(ii) ND IT with web experience; BTech IT with web experience; or ND Graphic Design with web experience.
(iii) Computer literacy
(iv) Must not be older than 35 years age
(v) Gqeberha permanent residence

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for assisting on all web-related, advertising and print media projects including but not limited to collateral projects through to completion from concept and design to production/ implementation.
2. To execute all-digital, online, advertising and print media related projects from inception to approval, as specified by the GDS Digital team.
3. Log design related job numbers and keep time of work done for each job.
4. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type for website, intranet, social media, and other web platforms/ channels.
5. Web content administration to ensure that all digital online media have cohesive brand consistency in line with CDC CI manual.
6. Actively manage the optimisation of website and intranet content including social media and mobile app.
7. Develop and implement online processes and systems to ensure proper governance and continuous improvements.
8. Apply algorithms that matter most to today•s marketing environment including search engine algorithms or social media algorithms to increase acquisition and retention.
9. Apply the factors that increase brand•s visibility especially through Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn platforms.
10. To attend meetings as and when required by the GDS Digital team.
11. To undertake other duties as required commensurate with the level of this post.
12. Assist in planning and transporting of CDC branding material for events when required.
13. Graphic Design, as an additional skill set, in combination with Web Developer/ Coding will be advantageous.
14. Demonstrate knowledge and application of algorithms as well as use of Eigenvalues, Google analytics, Regression algorithms to analyze marketing campaigns, Bayesian algorithms to provide data insights, Principle component analysis, Data modeling and Predictive analytics, to name but a few.
