Doornbosch is calling on South African unemployed youth to apply for the Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2025/2026.

  • Electrical
  • Boilermaker
  • Diesel Mechanic

Purpose of the Apprenticeship:

  • Gain hands-on experience and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
  • Acquire industry-relevant skills, techniques, and best practices.
  • Build networks that may lead to job opportunities, mentorship, or collaborations.
  • Improve job prospects, earnings potential, and overall career growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12, NCV Level 4, or N3 Certificate
  • A valid Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Completed the required qualifications within the last 4 years

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Basic engineering knowledge
  • Familiarity with industry concepts and terminology
  • Understanding of core technical principles in the field

Additional Requirements (Advantageous):

  • Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence
  • 1–2 years relevant work experience
  • Basic First Aid Training
  • Health and Safety Certificate
