Glencore Operations South Africa Coal Division offers learnerships to dynamic, result orientated students in the following trades. Glencore is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies.
Its global network comprises more than 90 offices located in over 50 countries, plus they have over 150 mining and metallurgical sites, offshore oil production assets, farms and agricultural facilities.

Requirements
In determining the successful candidates, a combination of the following criteria will be applied:
- Technical Grade 12/N2 with a 50% pass mark (Mathematics and Science are compulsory)
- Must be in possession of a Code EB (08) driver’s license
- In line with the Company’s Social and Labour Plans, successful candidates will come from the local communities where Glencore Operations South Africa Coal Division-owned and managed operations are located.
- Successful candidates must be fit enough to obtain a Certificate if Fitness prior to the commencement of Inservice Training.
