Greater Taung local Municipality hereby invites applications for higher educational bursaries:
Students who were awarded bursaries in the previous years need to apply again:
The following fields of study may gain preference but are not limited to:
Municipal Financial Management & Accounting, Engineering studies especially Civil, Town and Regional Planning, Economic development, & Artisans.
Key Requirements
1. Preferably applicants from indigent or poor backgrounds
2. Fields of subjects
3. Good results
4. Must be a resident of Greater Taung Local Municipality
Bursary applicants are requested to submit the following:
- Letter of application for bursary which includes contact number
- Proof of registration or admission with an educational institution
- Latest academic results
- Proof of residence- Must be a resident of Greater Taung Local Municipality
- Certified copy of ID
- Testimonials
- Proof of income of parents or guardians
Please note that the above is non-negotiable and all applications with documents must be stapled and attached to each other. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified.
Interested students should submit their application forms to, SDF’s office, Administration Offices, Old NWDC Building, opposite taxi rank, Main Street, Taung Station, for Attention: Bursary application. No faxed or emailed applications will be considered.
CLOSING DATE: 15 January 2016 at 12 noon. Should you not receive a response within one (1) month of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful. For submission and enquiries contact Mr. Seothaeng at 053 994 9400. Canvassing and lobbying will automatically disqualify the applicant.
