Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Municipal Financial Management Internship Programme 2025.

Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality is offering five (5) internship positions under the Financial Management Internship Programme. This is a two-year fixed-term contract designed to provide graduates with practical training and exposure in areas such as Expenditure, Budgeting, Revenue Management, Supply Chain Management, and Internal Auditing.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a University or Technikon degree majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or Economics
- Not have participated in any internship programme previously
Responsibilities
Interns will:
- Gain exposure in core financial departments
- Ensure compliance with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA)
- Assist in budget reforms and National Treasury returns
- Support financial system improvements using their academic background
Stipend
- R100,000.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
