Signature Cosmetics and Fragrances are happy to announce that we have been successful in receiving a Discretionary Grant from the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority. In partnership with the W&R SETA we are proud to be able to offer W&R SETA accredited learning opportunities.
There are 2 Learning Opportunities:
LEARNING PROGRAMME 1
Qualification Title: National Certificate: Wholesale and Retail Operations
SAQA Qualification ID: 58206
Specialisation: Merchandising
Contract period: 15 Aug 2021 to 14 Aug 2022
Number of Opportunities: 12
We will be able to offer this opportunity, which is aimed at retail shop assistant level to 12 currently unemployed learners. The programme will be run over 12 months and will involve 3 days per month in workshops at Head Office and time working in a store, obtaining work experience, and gathering evidence for a Portfolio of Evidence that will be submitted for assessment.
Minimum Entry Criteria:
• Completed National Senior Certificate successfully
• Communication competency at Grade 12 (Passed English First or Second Language)
• Numeracy competency at Grade 12 (Passed Mathematics Literacy or Mathematics)
• 3 Contactable references
• Age: 18 – 35 years old
LEARNING PROGRAMME 2
Qualification Title: Further Education and Training Certificate: Generic Management
SAQA Qualification ID: 63333
Specialisation: Retail Supervision
Contract period: 15 Aug 2021 to 14 Aug 2022
Number of Opportunities: 8
We will be able to offer this opportunity, which is aimed at the retail shop assistant level, to 8 currently unemployed learners. The programme will be run over 12 months and will involve 5 days per month in workshops at Head Office and time working in a store, obtaining work experience, and gathering evidence for a Portfolio of Evidence that will be submitted for assessment.
Minimum Entry Criteria:
• Completed National Senior Certificate successfully
• Communication competency at Grade 12 (Passed English First or Second Language)
• Numeracy competency at Grade 12 (Passed Mathematics)
• Must have 3 years work experience in the Wholesale Retail Sector
• Experience in cosmetics and fragrance sales will be an added advantage.
