Umgeni Water invites applications from unemployed suitably qualified graduates to be exposed to an experiential training that will result in the development of their technical knowledge leading to their registration as professional Planners with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN).

Minimum qualifications required
- A B-Tech/BScHons in Urban & Regional planning/Development planning is a requirement
- A Master of Town & Regional Planning qualification will be an added advantage
- An unendorsed valid Driver’s license is a requirement,

During the training, Graduates must successfully demonstrate all proficiencies as determined by
SACPLAN for the graduate development programme in their respective discipline.

First preference will be for the applicants who are permanent residents of the Msunduzi Local
Municipality. The programme is restricted to South African citizens.
