About the Old Mutual Graduate Internship
The opportunity is aimed at graduates who want to start their careers at Old Mutual as Multiskilled Consultants.
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by understanding customer needs, managing expectations and providing appropriate solutions. The role also involves directing customers to the correct service channels while complying with required productivity, procedural and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for duties including:
- Delivering professional and customer-focused service across different customer touchpoints.
- Supporting customers across different products, services and communication channels.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products, services or solutions.
- Managing customer queries and cases from initial contact through to resolution.
- Building customer relationships and supporting customer retention and loyalty.
- Identifying recurring customer issues and opportunities for service and process improvement.
- Maintaining quality, accuracy and professionalism during customer interactions.
- Completing administrative duties accurately and within required turnaround times.
- Working with internal teams, business partners and service providers to resolve customer queries.
- Meeting individual and team performance, service, quality and productivity targets.
- Ensuring customer interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements, company policies and risk-management practices.
- Keeping up to date with products, processes, market developments and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting customers with self-service and digital platforms.
- Capturing customer trends, feedback and concerns to support continuous improvement.
- Participating in team meetings, coaching and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- A Degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good judgement and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Good typing skills.
- Knowledge of Old Mutual systems such as BANCS, BIZAGI, Outlook and CMOS is required.
